Magnesium Oxide for Steel Applications

MagChem AOD is a high purity Magnesium Oxide material used as a slag conditioner in the Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) process. Due to its low impurity levels and high solubility characteristics, MagChem AOD is perfect for the production of specialty steels and alloys.

MagChem AOD is available in bulk carload and truckload, 22-kg (50-lb.) polyethylene-lined, multi-walled bags and 907-kg (2000-lb.) bulk sacks.
