Marinco^®: Food Grade Magnesium Oxide

An odorless, non-toxic anti-caking flow agent

Marinco FCC magnesium oxide is often used as a food additive for powder mix desiccant (drying agent), color retention, pH modification or as a magnesium supplement. Odorless and non-toxic, Marinco FCC dissolves in dilute acids but is also practically insoluble in water and alcohol.

Magnesium oxide adds dietary value in the form of the mineral magnesium in dietary supplements (i.e. vitamins). When added to food products, Marinco also helps control pH and maintain food color.

In addition, Marinco MgO keeps powdered foods, such as powder drink mixes, free-flowing as it acts as an anti-caking agent.
